In Memoriam: Our Founder
	Kurt Nagel, Our Founder & Master Craftsman Kurt Nagel was the founding force behind Willow Tree Awards. From 1990 – 2008 Kurt worked to provide the best quality awards and products to our many clients. It is because of Kurt’s work ethic and ideals that the company has become what it is today. Kurt was a resident of Romeoville, IL since 1978 and was formerly of Des Plaines. Kurt was a veteran of the US Navy and a Romeoville Police Officer retiring in 2007 after 22 years of service. Kurt graduated with a master's degree in Justice Administration from Norwich and taught Criminal Justice for Phoenix University.
